VT+ Virtual Reality Therapy systems offer individually controllable exposure and behavioral exercises for anxiety disorders, supporting evidence-based treatments such as Virtual Reality Exposure Therapy (VRET) within cognitive-behavioral therapy frameworks, covering applications in addiction-related cue exposure, social skills training, and stress management. The systems contain interactive exercises in VR, including for nicotine addiction, fear of heights, fear of spiders, fear of flying, claustrophobia or social fears such as fear of public speaking, job interviews, social interactions with others, as well as mindfulness and relaxation exercises.

VT+ VR research systems enable reliable, experimentally controlled data collection with high internal validity using virtual reality. VT+ VR simulation software supports head-mounted displays and multi-channel projection systems. VT+ VR systems are used in scientific studies in fields including pharmacological research, psychology, psychosomatics, neurology, psychotherapy, psychiatry, and safety research.

VTplus provides Research Services using VR and creates highly effective Virtual Environments and VR simulations for use in application fields such as education, training or custom research requirements.

Scientific Foundation & Platform Technology

VTplus VR therapy systems are built on a modular VR platform. This technological foundation supports ongoing development and evaluation for use in clinical practice and research. At the same time, it provides the basis for transferring proven system components to additional medical application areas.
